Offer your customers the payment methods Creditcard, SOFORT Banking, iDEAL, Bancontact, Bank transfer, SEPA Direct Debit, PayPal, Bitcoin, PODIUM Cadeaukaart, paysafecard or Belfius Direct Net. Mollie is known for reliability, transparency.

Mollie handles the payment processing for you, no SSL certificate is required on your site, and you don’t have to worry about PCI compliance. Customers select their favourite payment method at checkout, and are redirected to Mollie or their bank’s site to finish the payment process. You benefit from easy, secure payment processing, and improve customer satisfaction by offering multiple payment methods.

 Mollie support payments only in EUR.

Setup and configuration

To setup Mollie payment gateway you will need to login to your Mollie account and obratin API Key (sign up if you don’t have one).

Go to your Mollie dashboard and on the top right profile options click on Settings

 

After you enter your settings area click on the top link Website profiles marked in the image above.

Create your website profile to obtain API Key, if you already have website profile you can skip this step.

Click on the API keys link from the profile you want to use.

You will see two fields for API keys, a live API key and a test API key, Live API key will be visible once your website profile has been verified by the team at Mollie.

Get you api key from the keys area. 

NOTE: For testing use the Test API Key, for production you will need to use the Live API Key

After everything is setup well in your Mollie dashboard, in Ixonn go to Setup->Settings->Payment Gateways and click on the Mollie tab.

Paste your API key and save the settings.

When using test api key you need to enable test mode.

NOTES:

  1. Ixonn sends webhook url for each requested payment.
  2. Ixonn validates the Mollie server ip address for security reasons, webhook url can’t be accessed directly.
  3. When you are on test mode the test transactions not appear in the Mollie gateway.
