Following up increased demand for blockchain technology in the areas of identity management and asset distribution management, Ixonn will soon open and research and development office in Tel Aviv, IL.

The move will allow Ixonn to a more efficient access to the talent and know-how required to accelerate the release of core platform in the Ixonn’s roadmap. International heavyweights, such as Amazon, Ebay, Paypal, Google and Microsoft, have also branched out to include offices in Israel.

The new facility will focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing and its applications to financial technology (fintech) and cyber security. The company is planning to hire 12 new researchers to work at its new centre.
